How to Select Window Treatments for a Bathroom

Clearly, our first priority in the bathroom is privacy. But depending on your climate and bathroom layout, your window treatments also need to withstand humidity. For an area near a tub, shower or spa, look for window treatments made of moisture-resistant materials. One great option are EverWood® alternative wood blinds by Hunter Douglas.

Another great option are Palm Beach™ polysatin shutters. Both products are made from materials that are guaranteed to never warp, chip, crack or fade even in the most extreme conditions. Control the light and privacy levels in your bathroom by simply tilting and turning the slats or louvers.

If moisture is less of a concern, you may want to consider soft window treatments, such as Luminette® Privacy Sheers and Silhouette® window shadings. For a more rustic look, choose Provenance® Woven Wood Shades. Shades that open from the top down are a great choice, because they let in unfiltered light yet still provide privacy. Too many choices? The experienced staff at Today's Window Fashions can help you select the best solution for your bathroom.
